We Believe in Observing Baptism & The Lord’s Supper
We believe in practicing the only two ordinances of the church; baptism and the Lord's Supper. These ordinances are symbols of the gospel and our unity as a church. Baptism shows a believer who has died in a death like Christ but who has been raised to walk in a new life following Jesus all their days. The Lord's Supper is for those who are baptized believers that they may take part in a memorial meal for what Christ has done by having his body broken and his blood poured out for his people.

This Sunday we go through an important passage of John that tells of Jesus going into the temple during the Passover to drive out the money changers who were making the temple to be a business rather than a house of prayer. Jesus is confronted to explain his behavior to which he responds with an astounding statement that if the temple is torn down he will rebuild it in three days. John let's us know that he was not speaking of the temple building when he said this, but of his own body.
